During my time working at Verto Education, I built a comprehensive Student Portal revolutionizing the way students engage with their academic journey. The portal community serves as a hub to all vital resources that students can reference on a day-to-day basis. One of its key features is an intuitive Invoicing system that allows students to effortlessly view and pay their tuition invoices. This system employs a custom-coded Invoice List LWC and Invoice PDF Visualforce page, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for students managing their financial obligations. Additionally, I focused on enhancing the user interface and experience of the course registration process. This involved building custom course registration LWC components, aimed at simplifying and optimizing the registration workflow for students as well as a student schedule LWC, integrated into the Student Portal Community, providing users with a clear overview of their weekly class agenda and enrolled courses.

One of the standout achievements of the project was the development of a custom-coded tool for students to easily add/drop classes and adjust their schedules. Despite the demanding timeline of just two weeks, the solution was built from scratch, meeting the deadline and surpassing expectations. This tool proved immensely beneficial, processing over 1,500 add/drop requests and handling over 100 support tickets, significantly reducing manual workload and improving efficiency. From a business perspective, the project was estimated to deliver substantial value, equivalent to approximately $250,000. This value was realized through savings in manual labor, with the system reducing the workload of 15 full-time employees and saving at least 600 working hours.
